Welcome to the UUFP Social Concerns Web
The Social Concerns Committee serves to facilitate the important social actions that take place within the congregation. We are committed to active involvement with social issues. Our committee is particularly supportive of the following Unitarian Universalist principles:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person
- Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
The Social Concerns Committee meets at 7:00pm on the 4th Monday of every month. All are welcome to attend and raise an issue of concern.
Please take a moment to review our
policies.

What Concerns YoUU?
Got a gripe, a suggestion? The Social Concerns Committee would like to know what's bugging you. Whether it's about your own backyard or the world at large, we'd like to know what concerns YOU!
The Social Concerns Committee is working in partnership with other groups within the church and encourages individual members of the congregation who wish to pursue social action to participate with our committee. Please pass along any information about organizations that you personally support with your time and/or money. We may support them, too!
