Action Item review

SC Sunday Night

We had good attendance for Outfoxed including some who had not attended before. Wayne will share his knowledge of local media ownership. Chris and Patricia will work on promotions. The next SC Sunday night is on Peacemaking to be hosted by Donna.

CROP

Chris reviewed recent CROP meetings. Bob Smith has declined to participate. The SoCoCalendar has all of the upcoming CROP meetings.

LINK

Pam will contact Marj Gates.

Salon

6pm on Aug 4th at Pam and Jerry's. The Tenneys will present a salon on peak oil. A presentation will be made be a college professor on peak oil accompanied by a video. (Also on the SoCoCalendar now.)

Concert for LINK

David wants to do an afternoon concert starting around noon and going into the evening in Spring 2008. Entry fees would be food donations for LINK. David knows of Copper Pond, an alternative band which includes his nephew. Jerry's nephew is in a hard rock band that might be interested. Plan would be for three bands with Copper Pond first or second and for the quieter band that the UUFP has already hosted to finish the night. As David is leaving within the next month, he hopes the SCC and young adults might take this on as a project. David will contact Andrea and Jonathan Garner.

LINK Grocery List

David also brought a mock-up of a grocery list with LINK preprinted as a grocery item. He will price out printing costs.

Lost Boys/Girls of Sudan

Patricia and Mason will find a date for a Pilots game outing for which we could invite the lost boys.

Julie asked Pam about getting tutoring for the Lost Boys. The uu's ESL may be able to augment when it gets warmed up again in the fall.
