Create a New Page/Topic

Note: You must be logged in and listed in the SocialConcernsGroup to create or edit pages.
  1. Click on the Create New Topic link found in the sidebar.
  2. Type the name of the topic in the Topic Name field.
    • warning The topic name must be in WikiWord format.
  3. Select the topic parent.
    • If you are unsure of what the topic parent should be you can select no parent/orphaned topic.
  4. Click the yellow Create button located next to the Topic Name field.
    • Upon completion of this step a new page is created and displayed in edit mode.
  5. Add some content if you desire and click the yellow Save button found in the grey bar at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! That's it, you've created a page. To edit your page or any other page just click on the edit button found at the top and bottom of each page.


Attach Files to Page/Topic

  1. Click on the Attach link found at the top and bottom of the page.
  2. Click on the Browse button to locate the file on your computer that you want to attach to the page.
    • You can click the "Show existing attachments" link to see which files you have already uploaded to the page.
  3. Add a comment or description of the file in the Comment field if you choose.
  4. Check the Link, Hide File or Batch Upload options as necessary.
    • These options provide extra functionality and are not required to attach a file to the page.
    • warning The attachment table is viewable only to logged in visitors. Check the "Link" box to create a link to the attachment if you want the attachment to be viewable to all.
  5. Click the yellow Upload file link.

Note: You may attach files of any type to your pages.
