Marje Gates' fellowship circle plan to hand out bags on 5 Oct for sock collection to be brought back 12 Oct.
Commission on Appraisal
Sandra reports that the Commission on Appraisal is revising the 7 principles as part of a periodic review process. The changes seems to be related to removing the words congregation. The UUA is requesting feedback on their current draft.
TJD
The Richmond TJD has been canceled due to concern of overworking the staff. Chapel Hill has been reschedule to 17-18 Oct. The agenda will cover the Knoxville tragedy and growth.
Fall Retreat
Showing the Ware Lecture may be too heavy considering some reactions to last year's retreat. 7-9 Nov is the new schedule. SoCo is going to cook and serve dinner Saturday night. Joann has a fleet of volunteers to help with cleanup as part of an effort to be more Green this retreat.
Bay Days
The SoCo expressed appreciation for Sandra's effort to get us signed up to have a booth at Bay Days and to Christine Woods and her fellow volunteers for setting up the booth. Sadly the remains of a hurricane caused Bay Days to be cancelled.
Justice Sunday
Mason contributed materials on Justice Sunday for future consideration.
PPP
Jerry called to report that a vigil was held last Saturday.
CROP
Chris will e-mail a blurb to various UUFP addresses regarding the CROP Walk Sunday.
